Castlerock Recruitment are currently searching for experienced and competent Registered Nurses to complete work at a medical centre within Tidworth, Wiltshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below:
*Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating patient care without supervision
*Support and manage subordinates as directed by the Ward manager/ Clinical team leaders.
*Be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care. Maintain professional registration and personal portfolio.
*Maintain high standards of documentation in accordance with the NMC The Code (2008).
*Work within own level of competence with reference to the NMC The Code (2008) , whilst undertaking the following:
- Undertake mandatory assessments and training including drug administration, care of CVADS, equipment training, ILS and anything else the post requires.
- Perform expanded roles such as IV therapies, venepuncture and cannulation and support learning and assessment in practice.

*Order and maintain the required level of medical supplies to include drugs, dressings and equipment to achieve patient care.
*Demonstrate both written and IT literacy to enable the recording of assessment, planning, care and evaluation of Nursing Care and the ordering and retrieval of clinical investigations.
Essential
*Must be registered with the NMC and hold a valid PIN.
*One year's satisfactory previous experience at Band 5.
*Minimum of one to two years post registration experience in Primary Health Care practice.
*Experienced and competent in Immunisation, Venepuncture, Audiology.
*Patient Group Directive (PGDs) in a related Community Health discipline or portfolio evidence of equivalent experience.

Desirable
*Experience in relevant areas, e.g. Occupational Health Nursing (OHN), clinical supervision, Supporting Learning and Assessment in Practice (or equivalent), Travel Medicine, Cervical Cytology, Asthma Diploma, Chronic Disease management - diabetes and asthma, etc.
*Competence in audiometry, smoking cessation, ear syringing and vaccination.
*Well Woman and family planning clinics.
*Previous experience of working with MOD.
