£16,830 - £19,125 annual salary pro rata

Then you could be the person we are looking for as our Mobile Library Supervisor.

This role involves driving our mobile library, delivering services to rural and suburban communities. You will usually be working alone carrying out a varied range of tasks.

You will need to be confident driving a large vehicle and will need a current LGV Class 2 Licence or the commitment to attaining this within six months. Training will be provided.

Please note candidates without a driving licence will not be considered.
For insurance purposes you must be at least 21 years of age.

The base location of this role is Chelmsford but the job is County-wide.

You need the ability to learn and remember a variety of clerical, ICT and library routines. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, adapting and responding to changing and challenging situations. Effective communication skills - verbal and written - are a necessity together with good listening skills to ensure that you can deal with customer enquiries and queries.
