Job Title: Mobile Developer

Salary/Rate:$35-45/hour

Location: Houston, TX

We have an immediate need for a Mobile Developer for a six month contract in Houston.

This individual will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of windows mobile solutions within the organization. The particular project is to develop software that can work offline and online, due to the remoteness of the sites where it is being used.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

- Work with the development teams to deliver mobile solutions based on the needs of the business and clients.
- Database design and application development on Windows Mobile in particular offline functionality due to devices being used in remote locations

WORK EXPERIENCE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

- Skills and experience developing for MS Windows mobile Operating Systems
- Skills and experience working with Motorola Handheld Scanners
- Skills and experience developing for Apple iOS
- Familiarity with MS Visual Studio 2008/2010
- Good writing skills for technical documents such as software requirements, user guides, and configuration management documentation
- Effective communications skills in discussing requirements with end users and system owners

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

- 1-2 years relevant experience in the IT industry working as a Mobile Developer
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, physics or related discipline would be advantageous but not required.
