We have a vacancy for a Mobile Core Tester to support our customer in Belgium.
JOB DESCRIPTION/MAIN RESPONSIBILITY AREA:
-Perform testcalls in a mobile network environment and verify if these calls are processed properly.
-This includes documenting the executed testcases & safeguarding the calldata.
-Testdescription is provided at high level only - tester must be capable to elaborate independently
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES:
-Good understanding of building blocks of a Mobile Network (2G, 3G, 4G, VoLTE).
-Good understanding of IP-networking/routing technologies.
-Good understanding of call types, subscriber types and features in a Mobile Network.
-Good understanding of 3GPP standards.
-Experience in use of call tracing tools (eg OSIX).
-Experience in execution of testcalls in a mobile network.
GENERAL COMPETENCES:
-language: fluent in English (mandatory)
-Windows PC
-Availability to work on site in Belgium (mainly Brussels area)
-Willingness to work in shifts and weekends when needed
-High level of accountability and quality orientation
PROJECT DETAILS:
Location: Brussels area, Belgium
Start date: 14/09/2015
Contract duration: 2 months
Rate: Market related
