Mobile Applications Architect (iOS, Android, Windows Phone)

We are searching for a MOBILE APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT (IOS, ANDROID, WINDOWS PHONE) for our client, a leading multinational based in the lake Geneva region of Switzerland.
Within the Software Factory (SoFa), the Mobile Applications Architect has the mission of designing and following up the development of all the mobile SW products.
Working closely with a team of developers ensures the highest standards of quality of the mobile applications following the industry best practices. Collaborating with the Solution Designers' team influences decisions regarding the technology roadmaps for SW products.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess feasibility and quantify development efforts for new mobile requirements.
- Translate requirements into application's level architecture to fit the existing solutions
- Design and document detailed architectures for mobile solutions on various platforms, eg iOS, Android, and Windows Phone
- Be the technical leader for design, implementation and interface decisions regarding the mobile application's architecture. Recommend alternatives when needed
- Recommend and setup development best practices, eg continuous integration, code review, functional and automated unit testing.
- Understand and apply agile methodology across multiple on-site and near-shore teams
- Influence the technology direction of the mobile strategy and development by evangelizing on new technologies and solutions
KEY SKILLS
- 5+ years of proven track record of developing and deploying consumer-facing mobile software solutions on multiple platforms including iOS, Android and Windows Phone
- Solid design understanding and hands on coding experience in cross-platforms mobile applications using frameworks such as PhoneGap, JQuery Mobile, AppCelerator Titanium, Sencha Touch
- Proven expertise in designing mobile applications choosing architectural patterns which enhance the app performance (eg regarding the usage of caching, configuration management, connectivity, security, synchronization, web services integration, etc.)
- General understanding of mobile application distribution using MDM tools (eg AirWatch) is considered a plus
- Comfortable speaking with Project Managers, ScrumMasters and experience in coordinating developers' teams
- Must be and likes being an active coder
- Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
- Fluent in English. French is an plus
