Mobile Application Developers (iOS and Android)

SolTech is seeking two Mobile Developers to consult and design a tablet application for a client in the education space. The developers would need to assess the application need, provide consultative direction and design and be able to perform the development of the application and/or teach a team of developers how to program the application. SolTech is looking for one iOS developer and one Android developer. These are contract positions.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide consultative services to determine a solution to the client need for a tablet application
- Design the architecture of the application as well as the user interface
- Develop the tablet application in the respective native programming language depending on the device (iOS or Android)
- Teach a team of developers how to develop/program the tablet application and how to maintain it over time

Required Skills

- 5+ years experience developing mobile applications on iOS or Android platforms
- 5+ years development experience with Objective C and native iOS programming languages or Android SDK, Java and other native Android programming languages
- 3+ years experience with user interface design and information architecture
- Proven success in launching completed mobile applications to the Apple App Store or Android Market
- Thorough understanding of application development methodologies
- Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
