Mobile Application Developer - Android - Switzerland

Our client is a major international organisation with its headquarters based in Lausanne. As part of a major new development project to manage their internal products, they are looking for a Mobile Applications Developer with experience of developing best-of-breed native mobile apps for Android version 2.x to 4.x
Your experience may have been acquired through working as a freelance developer or part of a large organisation, but your skills in software development, coding and understanding complicated architecture will be the same. You will be expected to have strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns as well as good experience of Web Services consumption (JSON, SOAP, RESTful).
Knowledge of C/C++ would be a strong asset as would exposure to hibrid architecture (Webview and WebServices).
With a strong coding methodology, you will be required to develop to high code quality standards and architecture, perform corrective maintenance and bug resolution and perform unit test development. With the ability to act as a Solution Designer when required, you will be able to interpret business requirements turning them into technical specifications and ensure full life cycle development.
You will be fluent in English and have a significant history in native mobile application development.
Due to the urgency of this position, we are only able to consider applications from candidates based in Switzerland or from the EU.
