MOBILE ANDROID DEVELOPER/RESTFUL/APIS/SDKS

Our client is a world-recognized organization and one of the leaders on the Dutch market. They are looking for a Mobile Android Developer with experience in RESTful, APIs, and SDK's. Your role in the project will be to develop and maintain a financial app, currently used by millions of customers, focusing on the development of new native features on Android.

AS THE SUCCESSFUL MOBILE ANDROID DEVELOPER:

- You have strong knowledge of SDK's
- You are familiar with RESTful APIs to connect to Back End services
- You have strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices
- You have experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- You have knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- You are able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- You are familiar with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- You understand of design principles and interface guidelines
- You have proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- You are familiarity with continuous integration and build tools (like Jenkins and Fastlane)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

- You will design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- You will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- You will identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- You will help maintain code quality (by implementing unit tests), organisation, and (test)automatization
