Mission Systems Engineer

MISSION SYSTEMS ENGINEER - AVIONIC SYSTEMS, EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION, REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, INTEGRATION, VERIFICATION

A Mission Systems Engineer with Avionic Systems, Integration and Equipment Specification experience is required to work on a twelve month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Humberside.

This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business.

OVERVIEW OF THE MISSION SYSTEMS ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

To define requirements for, integrate and certify for flight, Mission Systems and Avionic Equipments for all marks of aircraft associated with both airborne and ground-based systems.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE MISSION SYSTEMS ENGINEER

- Working knowledge of avionic systems and equipment's
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Avionic related equipment specification, design, implementation and testing.
- Relevant Honours Degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Current passport and driving licence with the ability to travel for short durations within the UK and overseas.

The role is based in Brough, nr Hull, Humberside, commutable from Hull, Beverley, Bridlington, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds and York with excellent access from Huddersfield and Manchester.
