MIS - Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

THE ROLE

Negotiate and agree scope and timescales with users to achieve best possible match between operational needs and BI system suitability and capability
Develop, evaluate and recommend solutions to meet user needs in the form of logical data model and functional specifications.
Develop reports using the Microsoft BI and Tableau.
Training of super-users within the business areas on the use of the specific Business Intelligence solution delivered.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
4 years experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions
Demonstrated ability in Data Analysis (inclusive of principles of statistics and data mining)
Experience of SQL to run basic queries for data analysis and data profiling
Broad-based knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions. 
Experience in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Tableau a distinct advantage.
Overall understanding of systems architecture & technology development life cycle.
Negotiation, presentation & communications skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision combined with very good organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree, or local equivalent, in business, technology, information technology or related discipline.
