Projektbeschreibung
The ideal candidate will have solid experience networking, videoconferencing and VoIP equipment to ensure all services are operating correctly.
- Migrate Video Conferencing and VoIP handset equipment following specified procedures
- Undertake network tasks such as QoS, DNS and pac file updates
- Performing all cutover tasks to ensure successful transition in a timely manner, including testing to ensure all services are operating correctly following the migration
- Update and maintain video conferencing and phone handset details inside relevant monitoring and management systems
- Provide high quality remote support to customers using tools such as the phone and video conferencing
- Monitor and maintain all migration service requests and incidents to ensure timely migration minimizing impact to sites
- Production of written material including procedural documentation and reporting
- Support additional projects if required
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Polycom (VSX and HDX) and Cisco (MXP, C, EX and SX) video conference endpoints and Cisco VoIP handsets
- Proven experience in protocols including IP, LAN, WAN, HTTP, SNMP and H323
- Skills in a range of Microsoft applications, in particular high level skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email/communications
- Proven customer service experience including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers and solve issues through to completion
- Knowledge of incident management system such as BMC Remedy
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
