Migration Operational Manager

For a client in the financial industry in Zurich we are currently looking for an Migration Operation Manager.

DUTIES

Prime contact for all operational topics related to International migrations

Handling of all operational topics related to International migrations

Organisation and operational lead for the daily calls

Supervision of the daily Residual data loads of all Booking Centres

Planning and execution management of all test activities related to International migrations

General preparation of the Asset Transfer weekends

Preparation of the Cutover plan for the Asset Transfer weekends calls

At the Asset Transfer weekends: Execution, operational tracking and communication management related to the global Cutover plan

Involvement of adequate staff on upcoming topics/issues

Topic/issue management until resolution

Handling of escalations until resolution

Maintenance of distribution list related to these tasks

Planning of local Booking Centre's (BC) IT and Banking Operations test and production activity (incl. time plans, staff plans and sequence of events)

Prepares and maintains local BC contingency plans for Migration weekends

Prime contact for local BC inquiries, test management and issue tracking

Is single point of contact for the local BC related Migration activities

Executes the Asset Transfer management at the Migration weekends

REQUIRED SKILLS

Profound general Banking and Information Technology knowledge

Experienced in Cutover Management and in Test Management

Structured thinking in complex environment (simplifying things for everybody's understanding)

Able to stay calm and organized in hectic situations

Positive experience in conference call management

Personal flexibility for early hours appointments and long evening occupation

Is capable to absorb a high stress level

High level of self-motivation

English fluent in speaking and writing and German business fluent
