Migration Lead

For our customer Telenor Norway we are looking for two MIGRATION LEAD for long assignment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Scope of work for LTE roll out phase 3:

Three formal Telenor projects are included:

- Upgrade of UDC (User Data Convergence) and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), migration of UDC subscriptions.
- Upgrade of CS Core, IMS, UDC, PS Core and PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function).
- VoLTE (Voice Over LTE).

LTE phase 3 now enters execution phase and will be analyzed during second half of 2013.

LTE PHASE 3 - MIGRATION LEAD:

The Migration Lead will take overall responsibility for migrating all of Telenor's BBT (Broad Band Telephony) and mobile subscribers from the current UDC to a new UDC being set up by the project. Responsibilities will include:

- Migration, contingency and rollback plan
- Follow-up relevant vendors in design and testing of a migration solution
- Liaise with other areas and projects in Telenor to identify and resolve dependencies (systems and processes)
- Perform live migration of all current BBT and mobile subscribers
- Support PMO with relevant risk management, communication and status reporting

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Relevant experience from previous migration projects
- Solid knowledge of mobile architecture and provisioning value chain
- Experience from testing
- Experience from project management

Candidates with prior Telenor Experience, preferably with insight in one or more of the platforms in scope and mobile technology in general, is preferred.

Start: 1. October 2013

Duration: End date is 30 may 2014, with an optional extension until 31 December 2014.

Location: Oslo

Language: Candidates with Norwegian language is preferred, but English language is also acceptable
