MIDDLEWARE/JBOSS ADMINISTRATOR

We have an opportunity for an experienced Middleware/Jboss Administrator to join our Large Global IT Services Client.

Position Title: Middleware/JBoss Administrator
Location: Paris, France
Type: Contract 6 months (Extendable)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE MIDDLEWARE/JBOSS ADMINISTRATOR:

As a Middleware Administrator the main tasks are:

Middleware Administrator for the installation, configuration, performance, tuning and maintenance of JBoss application Servers and other J2EE software products,
the Middleware Administrator will troubleshoot application issues and support the application development cycle involved with application design, deploying code, and resolving any infrastructure problems.
Other duties include monitoring production environment, tuning J2EE application Servers to optimize performance, reinstalling all Middleware products during lease replacements,
participating in production problem calls, stabilizing and improving JVM performance by tuning the Heap Size, GC policy, and connection pools.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THE MIDDLEWARE/JBOSS ADMINISTRATOR:

JBOSS, MS SQL and Lotus Notes (Oracle should be appreciated).
setup and administration Middleware, SQL and Lotus
French Speaking Skills.
JBoss Admin certified.

The Middleware/JBoss Administrator will also be required to participate in Practice development, growth and quality, having particular responsibility of overseeing Client's Infrastructure Competency:
