MIDDLEWARE ENVIRONMENTS ADMINISTRATOR
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Middleware Environments administrator
Provision, prepare, deploy, administer, monitor and support the Middleware platform infrastructure.
In collaboration with infrastructure and development teams, manage the Middleware infrastructure (application Servers & enterprise service bus, Apache, load balancer).
This includes, for all type of environment (including production):
. Provision and prepare new environments
. Deploy Middleware applications (possibly outside office hours)
. Administer and monitor the Middleware infrastructure and applications support
. Install, configure and maintain Tomcat configuration (Apache Tomcat)
. Create or Update Shell Scripts (eg bash, sh etc.)
. Systems unavailability/freeze troubleshooting as well as technical-functional problem solving (eg message not consumed, technical support to testers,
. Play a vital part in planning availability environment
. Document the deployed applications and maintain the cartography of the Middleware platform for all type of environments.
. Administration of Middleware applications
Architecture: integration and SOA
Platform: Java Enterprise on Linux
Technologies & Tools: Tomcat, Apache web server, Oracle Weblogic and OSB, Script Shell
SKILLS:
- Engineer in Information Technology.
- Graduate of EPF or recognized equivalent.
- Fully aware of the technical points mentioned
- Good experience/knowledge of complex IT architectures
- In-depth knowledge of application development life cycle
- Expert in Linux/RedHat system administration
- Good knowledge and practice of OO programming (design patterns, frameworks)
- Knowledge of Oracle database technologies is a plus
- Very strong focus on quality insurance.
- Structured, very good analytical skills.
- Requires a strong collaboration with both (internal) infrastructure and (external) development teams
