Middleware Administrator Job

MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in AUBURN HILLS, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Integration and Middleware team is responsible for installs, configurations, maintenance, upgrades, hardware migrations, patch management, troubleshooting, repair, performance tuning, incident/problem resolution, as well as monitoring and providing 24x7 support. In addition, the group engages in setup, deploys, security management, capacity management, and will coordinate backup/restore and system recovery activities. It also supports infrastructure architecture, application integration, projects setup and deployments.
- The group will perform, install, upgrade firmware and configure IBM WebSphere Message Broker, and WebSphere MQ and WMQ Adapters. It will provide administration and operational support, software upgrades, patch management, firmware updates roadmap, troubleshoot, alerts, monitoring and automated recovery, transactions traceability and tracking, issue resolution related to data exchange, data transformations, access, performance and capacity management.
- The team also monitors application infrastructure for service availability supporting business operations.

WebSphere MQ/Message broker and WMQ Adapters:
- Installation and configuration of the IBM Message Broker (WMB 7.0, 8.0, & 9.0) and WMQ
- Design and Development the Message Flows, Message Sets and Error handling Functionality
- Upgrade and/or patch software to maintain at vendor supported level
- Troubleshooting and debugging WMB messages flows and WMQtroubleshooting WMQ/WMB performance issues
- Working experience with WMQ SAP Adapters including setting up new adapters and operational support
- Must have experience with providing and consuming Web Services from WMB
- Experience with Data Modeling, Web Services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL etc)
- Must be willing to learn additional technologies, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology or equivalent experience.
