Mid Range Developers- .Net

My client, a leading Australian employer is looking experienced Developers to participate in a government program of work which aims to deliver larger scale application projects focused on 'changing the business'.The portfolio is maintaining a five-year view of a program of work to evolve core systems by further developing enterprise-wide systems technology and business processes.

The project is being scheduled as six major releases through to January 2017 - so this role has long term potential.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Participate in the development of technical solutions that meet design requirements.
- Provide technical advice and create technical designs, processes and architecture.
- Review Functional Design documentation and escalate potential issues or gaps
- Work as an effective team member; share knowledge and information with the team
- Contribute to reviews of system documentation and code
- Contribute to all phases of a development work including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and/or administrative tasks.

TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

- Microsoft .Net
- XML/XSL
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- VBScript
- TFS
- JQuery and Media Query
- ASP .Net
- VB.NET
- Tools and products used in the Systems Development Life Cycle including developing patterns and templates, and IT Guidelines and Standards
- Knowledge of Cobol and coding in Mainframe environments would be an additional asset
