The primary responsibility is to meet and exceed sales targets. To achieve this the job holder is required to transact telephone sales.
Once sales targets have been set by the business, the job holder is expected to deliver successfully against their individual target as part of the team.
It is essential that the job holder ensures they comply with all internal corporate governance and financial authority limits for energy contract quotes.
You will be be responsible for achieving sales targets of fixed price/duration electricity supply contracts, as well as identifing sales opportunities by matching customer/broker needs to EDF Energy products and services and arranging for the appropriate sales or marketing contact within EDF Energy to manage and complete the sales activity.
You will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following technical and Commercial Knowledge and skills:
Must be able to effectively demonstrate commercial acumen and sound decision making
Must have sound knowledge of EDF Energy's core and value added products
An understanding of energy wholesale markets and risk management methodologies in order to work with customer to identify appropriate strategies for their determined level of risk
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Leadership Skills
