Mid-Level Project Manager

My client, a top investment bank in Jersey City is looking for a mid level project manager. They are looking for someone coming from a compliance background with experience in KYC/AML. This is a 6+ month contract with the potential for extension. Please find the job description below: Main Function We are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to join our qualified and diverse development team. The candidate chosen will be responsible for elements of program management for US based Compliance projects Main Duties 1. Project Tracking: 1. Maintain staffing forecast and support monthly reconciliation process. 2. Oversee and enforce Time Booking process 3. Review invoices and confirm service delivery to the Business Manager 2. Support project initiation process: 1. Work with project managers to ensure requests are in line with forecast 2. Maintain and manage the project initiation process for the portfolio. 3. Interface with Sourcing and HR teams as required. 3. Contractor Administration: 1. Track and manage all contract renewals for SW, maintenance, and services. 2. Maintain and track project staffing requirements. 4. Reporting: 1. Maintain PMO standards for Project creation and Reporting 2. Prepare and send weekly time booking reports 3. Prepare and send Monthly Accomplishment Reports 4. Prepare Red / Amber reports Person Requirements Basic Qualifications · 5+ years of experience at one or more major investment bank · Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of technology projects working with multiple business stakeholders · Strong people management skills · Senior stakeholder management skills · Experience partnering with business & Sr. Management · Experience working in a global environment · Experience building Executive Level presentations / dashboards. Preferred Qualifications: · Track record of working as a senior Project Manager in a strategic delivery role · Relevant Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince2) · Exposure to Compliance systems · Working knowledge of US Regulatory Statutes: AML / BSA / KYC.
