Microstrategy Software Engineer

Our client is one of the world's leading financial services seeking a SENIOR LEVEL SOFTWARE ENGINEER for an onsite position in Foster City (no remote candidates). This is for MicroStrategy BI development effort.

JOB SCOPE:

- Create MSTR Prelim and Detail design document based on the business requirement
- Create/update MicroStrategy schemas as per the requirements
- Create/update reports, dynamic dashboards as per the requirements
- Provide QA and UAT support and DR fixes
- Support Deployment; Create documents, Integrity Manager test cases, and product support hand over documents
- Attend meetings and support other functional teams as needed

SKILL SET REQUIRED:

- Must be Senior MicroStrategy architect and reporting experience (4-5 years)
- MicroStrategy dynamic dashboard experience for version 9 (1-2 years)
- Excellent SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed (4-5 years)
- ETL Provisioning Data experience nice to have
- Good written and oral communication, ie ability to explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of the tasks

Duration of this assignment is expected to be 1 year.
