MICROSTRATEGY DEVELOPER

DURATION: Initial 3 months

LOCATION: Holborn or Hemel Hempstead

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Steria Recruitment Ltd (a Steria company) provides recruitment and resourcing solutions to Steria, a leading European IT service provider. Steria requires 2 Microstrategy Developers for initial 3 month contract in either Holborn or Hemel Hempstead.

The role can either be based out of Holborn with travel to Hemel Hempstead 2 to 3 days a week or based out of Hemel Hempstead full time.

The Microstrategy Developers are required to work within a Steria Agile SCRUM Team for a project for a major retail Client. Specific duties for the Microstrategy Developers will include assisting with designing, implementing and maintaining a mobile Microstrategy-based BI Portal solution for the client based on SOA/Web Services BackEnd that Steria will be creating. The Microstrategy Developers will have full responsibility for the Microstrategy Architecture & Development requirements of the client for the Project. 

We're ideally looking for Microstrategy Developers who have experience in analysing, designing, and developing the Microstrategy reporting application.

MICROSTRATEGY DEVELOPERS ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Building the MSTR objects (metrics, facts, attributes, custom groups, filters etc)
- Creating complex MicroStrategy dashboards & also Mobile MSTR application development
- Creating highly formatted MSTR reports, documents, and dashboards using MS Report Services
- Expertise in developing web services (REST, JSONP, XML).
- Highly experienced in SOA Development & Architecture
- Hands-on experience with normal project activities such as schema creation and development of queries, documents and dashboards design and creation
- Experience in Agile Project Management Methodologies
- Fluent Written and Verbal English
- Able to work in a collaborative manner, but also able to take own initiative and come up with solutions to issues
