Must have skills:
Understanding or experience with BI platforms such as MicroStrategy (5+ years), COGNOS, and OBIEE. Relational database and SQL development experience (5+ years) required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or other technical discipline required; advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in data warehouse development, management of information systems and enterprise data store approaches
- Progressive career experience managing technologies and technology BI operations in large, complex, and geographically diverse operations
- Understanding or experience with BI platforms such as MicroStrategy, COGNOS, and OBIEE
- Relational database and SQL development experience required; extensive knowledge of UDB (3 years of experience or more) and other relational databases (such as Oracle) a plus
- Superb business analytic ability as well as astute awareness of state-of-the-art and best practices for data warehousing, data base marketing, consumer analytics, knowledge management, interactive near Real Time data base processing
- In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle required
- Development experience in a cross-platform, multi-tier environment
- Ability to develop code that follows established coding guidelines
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to present complex ideas and document in a clear and concise way
- Proficiency in project design
- Deep knowledge of all Data Warehouse-related components (Sourcing, ETL, Data Modeling, Infrastructure, BI, Reporting) and multiple tools to support those components
- Expertise in best practices for Data Marts and Enterprise Data Warehouse architectures
- Quick learner; self-starter, detailed and thorough
