Our client - the global leader in business computing, seeks a strong, technical support consultant with deep technical knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS).

This Premier Field Engineer will not only possess exceptionally strong technical skills in the areas of interest (set out below) but they will also have the strong consulting and client-facing skills that are essential in working effectively with large-scale enterprise clients at all levels of the business.

We are looking for technical consultants with:

Experience in the enterprise customer arena
Face-to-face customer engagement skills
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Troubleshooting knowledge & skills
MCSD qualification
Degree qualification or equivalent experience
Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE - TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER ADMINISTRATION:
Team Foundation Server Premier Field Engineers should be experienced in the setup and administration of Team Foundation Server and demonstrate expertise over the functional areas of the Team Foundation Server product and associated Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management tools.

While our key relationships are typically with our customers' development and test teams, Premier Field Engineers will also find themselves working with 3rd/4th line infrastructure support teams, MS Engineering teams, MS Application Development Managers and Scalability Lab teams, so need to be confident working at this level.

The Core role requires depth knowledge in a number of the following technologies/areas:
Team Foundation Server Setup
Team Foundation Server Administration
Team Foundation Version Control
Development Process (Agile/Scrum/Kanban/CMMI)
Team Foundation Server Process Customization
Team Foundation Server Build Customization
Strong troubleshooting skills

The ability to assist customer teams in the development and tuning of reporting based on:
SQL Reporting Services
SQL Analysis Services
The following area may also be beneficial:
.NET Development Skills (C#/VB.NET)
Any Testing Experience
Team Foundation Service (Cloud based Team Foundation Server)
