Microsoft SharePoint Architect
I am currently looking for an experienced SharePoint Architect to work on a 6 month contract for a market leading client of mine in Johannesburg, South Africa.
DUTIES - - Leverage the full functionality of SharePoint to deliver Intranet portals, document and file management, collaboration, social networks, extranets, websites, enterprise search, business intelligence, workflow automation and system integration that are mapped to business requirements
- Under the leadership of the CIO, take responsibility for architecting, installing, configuring, implementing, optimizing and supporting Microsoft SharePoint deployments
- As the Subject Matter Expert and Product Champion, provide technical advice on how to align SharePoint functionality with business requirements
- Collaborate with the IT team around issues of customization, system integration, design and compatibility
- Interpret business requirements, design solutions including customizations, build proofs of concept (when necessary), and implement solutions
- Recommend project approaches and provide time estimates
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day development, delivery and support of the SharePoint environment and installed products
- Provide technical support to site owners, content managers and end users
- Set up and maintain system documentation including system architecture, custom development, security and access control, migration paths, taxonomy, site plans and support strategies
REQUIREMENTS - - Experience in programming on the Microsoft.NET platform and object-oriented concepts
- 3 years SharePoint development experience
- Mastered Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 architectural changes
- 5 years' experience in development and NET platform (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET)
- Experience in developing of Web Parts
- Development experience with the following technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, MVC, InfoPath
- Experience in working with SQL Server 2008 and 2003
- Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation, Product Nintex, Microsoft SQL
- Reporting Services, Business Intelligence dashboards
- Microsoft Certification in SharePoint development
