Microsoft Exchange Engineer - Multiple Roles - June 2013 Contract

A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced Microsoft Exchange Engineers within a Government Department for a long-term contract.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- A detailed level of Information Technology skills and experience with one or more Microsoft Exchange products;
- Skills transfer of technical knowledge to other staff to encourage technical growth and continued cross-training of technical skills within the team;
- Design, develop and deployment of Microsoft Exchange Servers including a detailed documentation of an Exchange mail environment;
- Provision of technical and end to end solutions in line with project requirements;
- Represent the client in a professional manner and liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders internally and across organisations; and
- Development of technical documentation relating to Exchange products and service solutions.

SKILLS:

- Microsoft Exchange design and implementation experience, including experience in support and troubleshooting Outlook and Exchange issues;
- Demonstrated experience is supporting Microsoft technologies including Microsoft exchange in a large and complex enterprise environment;
- Technical experience and knowledge of a variety of products and services; preferably: Microsoft Windows Server 2008; Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft Windows 7; Powershell Scripts; VB Scripts; Instant Messaging products such as Microsoft LYNC;
- Demonstrated understanding of Government ICT security compliance requirements and experience in their effective application within a Government Agency;
- Proven ability to work within a small team, tasked with delivering a broad range of outcomes and
- Microsoft certification (and preferably at current levels).
