MICROSOFT BI/DWH ARCHITECT, INSURANCE (6 MONTH CONTRACT, ZURICH)
On behalf of our client, an innovative insurance company, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced BI/DWH Architect with experience across the Microsoft stack for a 6 month contract starting in May 2016.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 5-10 years of experience, specializing in BI solution architecture, design, and development
- Solid practical experience on the Microsoft BI stack
- Ability to understand existing and writing new complex queries
- Technical Specialization in: SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server and other related technologies
- Data Warehousing and Datamodelling, specifically building/understanding star schema based data marts
- Candidates in the (re)insurance industry strong preferred
- Architecture: defining non-functional requirements and ensure they are achieved.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and analytics techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Fluency in English is essential
As the successful candidate you will work in a small and innovative database team responsible for building and maintaining Data Warehouse and application databases. You will take responsibility for driving new projects and steering strategy, as well as for their implementation.
