Mi and Planning Accountant - Project

MI AND PLANNING ACCOUNTANT

As part of a dynamic Reporting team you will be tasked with working in the project team to deliver new MI and Planning processes as well as help with BAU activities. This is part of the wide programme which is looking at a new system implementation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

FINANCIAL REPORTING:

- Prepare reports and presentations analysing financial results and financial reporting matters.
- Support the production of quarterly Internal/external financial reporting, half yearly results announcement and annual report and accounts. This includes project management of Group Finance deliverables, drafting wording to be included in the reports (including the GFD report of the Annual accounts), calculation and validation of data.
- Lead the design and implementation of a Financial Reporting Control/planning Framework
- Effectively communicate to key stakeholders
- Develop training for embedding new reporting process and present to key stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong report writing skills
- MI and Planning experience
- Knowledge and work experience of the financial services industry
- Strong Excel
- Strong Systems knowledge - SAP, Oracle ETC.
