MI Analyst

On behalf of my Financial Services client I am looking to recruit a MI Analyst for a period of 12 months based in Worthing.

Job purpose
*Reporting & MI team exists to own the end-to-end design, production and analysis of operational & strategic MI across CSR.
*In conjunction with the Reporting & MI Manager proactively support and seek efficiencies across the below functions, but not limited to:
*Underwriting
*Market Management
*Finance
*Operations
*To support CSR Reporting & MI Manager, CSR CUO, CSR Finance team and CSR Market Management on any ad-hoc requests
*Proposing innovative solutions or alternative approaches to existing procedures or processes.

Skills/Knowledge:
Essential:
*Commercial Awareness and technical MI Skills.
*Good working knowledge of all major systems, including but not limited to:
*Policy
*Gemini
*Aquarius
*EDW
*Broad business perspective
*Knowledge of Insurance (preferably London Market)
*Ability to communicate technicalities to all levels.
*Influencing and negotiation skills.
*Development & Coaching skills
*Organisation skills
*Communication skills
*PC literate (advanced on certain relevant applications)
*Numerate
*Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and without close supervision
*Close attention to detail

Experience of:

*Analysis and interpretation of customer requirements

Software knowledge of:
*MS Access
*MS Excel
*Business Objects
