Merchant Business Insights

My client a large global brand is looking for an experienced Merchant Business Insights Analyst on a initial contract basis.

The purpose of the role is to

- Deliver against Business Insights team targets - by performing customised projects across key industries (Lodging, Luxury Retail, Airline and Car rental)
- Partner with Client Managers to prioritize and engage new Business Insights opportunities, with the ultimate objective of driving excellent customer satisfaction
- Build proposals and teasers to generate sales, working with key stakeholders including Marketing, Pricing, Client Management and Analytics
- Support re negotiations with customers by highlighting the added value of the business.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from initial scoping, to the delivery of the analysis to customers.
- Communicate recommendations to a wide variety of external stakeholders, including senior management
- Contribute to other ad hoc initiatives such as customer events and building of new analytical capabilities.

PROFILE EXPECTED/REQUIRED SKILLS

- Previous experience in consulting/business development or analytics is mandatory
- Excellent analytical skills required. Advanced Excel.
- Strong autonomy to manage projects end-to-end
- Ability to deal with multiple internal and external stakeholders at once (has demonstrated success in building and leveraging strong relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders)
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex projects in a clear and powerful manner to a broad range of senior customer stakeholders
- Business sense and commercial mindset/acumen. Previous sales experience is a plus
- Degree or equivalent required
- Fluent English essential - French a plus
- Based in London
