MEETING SERVICES SPECIALIST (EVENT PLANNING/VIDEO CONFERENCING), BASEL - PHARMA
Are you a dynamic Event Specialist looking for your new challenging project?

On behalf of our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical players based in Basel, we are looking for a Meeting Services/Event Specialist with strong experience in WEBCAST CONSULTING and VIDEO CONFERENCING.
This is a 1 year contracting position starting from July 2016 until end of July 2017 with the opportunity of an extension.
PERFORMING IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Be the single point of contact for the customer on webcast coordination, local technician event planning and video conferencing
- Provide consulting to customers to use the right technology for their meetings
- Support customers in the technical preparation of large events and coordinate all involved providers in Basel/Kaiseraugst
- Collaborate with the global video conference services
- Document problems and incidents related to Meetings Services by using a ticketing system (eg HPSM) etc.
YOU BRING FOR THIS ROLE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE in EVENT PLANNING AND/OR CONFERENCING SERVICES
- Excellent communicational skills with proven ability to interact across cultures
- STRONG CUSTOMER AND SERVICE ORIENTATION
- Previous experience in an EVENT AGENCY will be a nice to have
- Pharmaceutical experience will be appreciated
- Proficiency in ENGLISH and GERMAN, any additional languages are an asset
- Flexible to work early and late hours even on short notice
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
