Medior Software Engineer (MFC)

For our client located in Venlo, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Medior Software Engineer with experience with C++ and MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes).

Location: Venlo
Duration: 3 months + extension

Introduction:
The Printer driver team in Venlo realizes the printer drivers of our DP cutsheet printers and multifunctionals. We realize drivers for Windows as well as Mac computers, by implementing a platform independent model in C++ and a user interface in C++ (windows) and ObjectiveC/Cocoa (Mac). The user interface enables end-users to configure their printjobs. The model abstracts from this, and handles different capabilities and constraints of our different printers and multifunctionals.

Position's main tasks:
Design, implement and test new functionality within the driver architecture. This in cooperation with the team's architect, coach and other members.

Need to have:
- 3 years experience in Windows development using C++ and MFC.
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Design and programming
- minimal Bachelor degree
- Excellent cooperation skills and teamplayer
- Ambition to realize SW with high quality
- Ambition to realize SW that adds end-user value
- Good knowledge of testdriven development
- Experience with unit testing
- Dutch/English speaking and writing

Nice to have:
- Experience with MacOS development using Objective C and Cocoa
- Experience in user interface development
- Experience in printer driver development
