For our Life Sciences client in Switzerland, we are seeking a Medical Information Manager.
Job Title: Medical Information Manager
Start date: 03/10/2016
End date: 02/10/2017
Location: Zug, Switzerland
Language: English
Your role:
- Serve as European Medical Information point of contact for the Immuno-Oncology Business Unit (IOBU) products
- Develop Medical Information materials including written answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Medical Information Letters (MILs) and Response to Queries (RTQs) for verbal answers to enquiries on these products within centralized EU IOBU
- Maintain up-to-date Medinfo materials via defined electronic system (IRPC) database in a compliant and timely manner
- Develop specific Medical Information content according to plan
- Reports on metrics and trends of Medical Information activities for assigned product(s)
- Adapt Medical Information plans based on metrics and needs assessment
Your experience:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: MSc in pharmacy or life sciences, or other Medical degree
- Preferred: Pharmacist, Pharm D, PhD
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year experience in pharmaceutical industry which may include experience in Medical Information, regulatory, safety, or clinical development
- Preferred: 2 or more years experience in Medical Information within bio(pharmaceutical) industry
- Will consider: 2 years experience as hospital pharmacist
- Fluency in written and spoken English
KNOWLEDGE
- Delivery of customer-focused and compliant Medical Information content
- Scientific knowledge (required)
- Specific knowledge in Oncology - Hematology (preferred)
- Ability to analyze medical-scientific literature and to search medical literature databases
- Usage of IS systems required to perform the job
We welcome applications of consultants' who match most of the above requirements and are available on a short notice. There is a competitive Hourly rate available for the contract; alternative market rates are also welcome.
