Medical Device Senior Process Engineer

Broad Function
To support process engineering for Production to deliver and maintain appropriate cGMP production capacity and remain ahead of commercial demand. To deliver lean, efficient and world class production processes for manufacturing medical devices and drug device combination products and introducing product enhancements and line extensions

Principle Responsibilities
? Delivery of medium to long term production process strategy to ensure availability of capacity and capability to meet commercial demand for all site products
? Responsibility for process engineering improvements against set targets (scale up, efficiency, quality, new technologies, EHS) for medical device and drug device combination products
? People Management - some supervision of process engineers. Collaboration with other technical resources in key development projects, quality matters and initiatives and facility issues.
? Process Development - Technical transfers from Development group (including process development and scale up), identification and implementation of continuous improvements (space, cost and scale effective)
? Quality - manage/coordinate assigned quality events, manage relevant change controls, provide support for development of validation policy at site and process level, sign off on protocols and define all key process control measures and capability requirements (SPC, CpK)
? Implement and promote ways of working to support and monitor continuous improvement across Manufacturing. Implement as appropriate methodologies including but not limited to lean, six sigma, 5S, OEE etc.
