Medical Device Technical Expert wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Academic degree in engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years' experience in device development
- Very good understanding of medical devices development processes along with relevant risk management experience
- Strong background in applying Human Factors Engineering processes to medical device development as well as strong communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent experience in project/program management, developing and documenting Human Factors activities and managing external suppliers for user studies
- Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces to other functions
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, a second language is a plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Managing product development life cycle including user needs identification, development of user profiles and use scenarios, use-related risk analysis, task analysis, user interface requirement and instructions for use (IFU)
- Leading IFU design and development along with providing optimized design
- Working closely with Drug Regulatory Affairs in order to support Human Factors related documentation for Health Authority registration
- Planning and managing formative and summative user studies in addition to reporting and presenting design recommendations to the team
- Managing external vendors along with close collaborating with cross functional stakeholders
