Our Global client based in the Home Counties is now searching for a Medical Advisor to join their expanding team on either a 9 months fix term paying between 50,000-60,000 per annum or on a daily paid contract paying up to 336 per day.

For this role, the ideal candidate must have extensive experience of Medical Information, Urology and Copy Approval to be considered for this role.

Role function:

To contribute scientific and clinical support to medico-marketing activities and to the sales teams to drive the UK business. Specifically, to maintain contact with key opinion leaders, to contribute to brand strategy, to act as the company's internal subject expert and to maintain channels of communication

Key accountabilities:

With Medical Director establish and develop strong relationships with key external customers including KOLs in relevant therapeutic areas
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products, the relevant therapeutic areas and the structure and workings of the NHS
Develop an understanding of the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice
Assist and advise Marketing on the preparation of promotional material
Provide support and training to the sales force
To present tailored clinical data packages to internal and external customers as required to meet needs of business.
To keep up to date with clinical knowledge, published data and trial work for company products
With Medical Director liaise with the London office and provide UK input into development plans
With Medical Director liaise with relevant medical contacts in pan Asia
Where applicable with Medical Director manage clinical studies undertaken by CROs on behalf of our client.

Qualifications

Life science degree, ideally pharmacy or pharmacology

Experience

Reasonable level of clinical knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas (Urology & Prostate Cancer)
Copy approval desirable
Strong commercial orientation and business interest.
