QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- Must display knowledge of the underlying principles of treatment and nursing procedures.
- Adequate understanding of a wide variety of medical/surgical pathophysiology and terminology.
- Awareness of symptoms and possible complications of surgery and anesthesia and initial treatment and subsequent nursing interventions.
- Have a working knowledge of fluid and electrolyte balance.
- Must be organized and work efficiently under pressure
- Must be patient-focused and compassionate
