Mechatronic Product Engineer

Based in Stavanger, Norway with our Patient Care team you will use your considerable technical and product development skills to help develop the next generation of products. The ideal candidate will be fast at problem solving, and strive to deliver quality in a challenging timeframe.

The role itself would include:

- Defining system architecture (systems that include PCA, software, electro-mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic elements).
- Selection, specification and integration of digital and proportional valves, pumps, pressure regulators etc.
- Selection, specification and integration of solenoids, motors etc.
- Selection, specification and integration of pneumatic/hydraulic and electro-mechanical sensors ie optical, pressure, flow and temperature sensors, accelerometers etc.
- Creating physical systems based on architecture (mock-ups), including tubing, manifolds, connectors etc., testing & reporting.
- Producing diagrams and drawings defining the system (s).
- Producing CAD models and drawings (NX), specifications and data sheets to support purchasing and manufacturing.
- Developing assembly instructions.
- Developing test specification for purchase or production qualification.
- Design for function & use, endurance & environment.
- Design for service, reuse & compliance (regulatory).
- Design for manufacturing & assembly.
- Hands-on mechatronic system prototype builds.
