A client based in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Solidworks experience. This will be for an initial 3 month contract.

Role:

The candidate will have to provide a mechanical and thermal design and drafting service, which will involve generate drawings and manufacturing packages as appropriate fir internal and customer end use.

Also maintaining mechanical CAD libraries on a share basis, liaise with suppliers with regard to mechanical issues, production tooling and related matters. Responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety.

- Mechanical Engineer with electro-mechanical packaging experience.
- Experienced Solidworks user
- Working with enclosures of SMPS and other power supplies.
- Familiar with thermal and vibration analysis using COSMOS package or similar.
- Experience in producing production assembly drawings
- Understanding of electronics and electronics packaging and design.
