Mechanical Project Engineer

My client is looking to take on a Mechanical Project Engineer for a minimum period of 12 months to work on a project managing the implementing of engineering & manufacturing technology capital projects that drive operations improvements in associated products.

The Mechanical PE will be a part of the EMEA Engineering and Innovations team based in Slough, but will support manufacturing sites acrossEurope.

The Mechanical PE will develop, propose, and implement engineering solutions to improve or expand manufacturing capability.

The Mechanical PE will manage the approves projects through conception, feasibility, EP preparation and approval, commissioning, handover and closure. They will also service Operations teams in providing advise and coaching on supply chain improvements.

The role will require some element of travel in theUKand to sites/suppliers overseas.

A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is desired.

Experience in mechanical engineering in the Chemical industry, including piping systems, pump technologies, storage tank design, liquid and powder material handling, blending and mixing technology, plant layout design, services and utilities, instrumentation.
