Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer - London

A global service company are looking to bring a Mechanical / hydraulics engineers board on a contract basis based in London. They are looking for someone mechanically biased to work within the controls department. They are looking for someone with expertise in the following areas and who is able to undertake all duties with proficiency: - Oil & Gas experience - specifically Subsea - Experience and knowledge of the design and operation of Hydraulic Power Units with a Mechanical/Hydraulic bias - Generation and review of technical procurement specifications for Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) - Generation and review of Topside Umbilical Termination Units (TUTU) or similar topside equipment and (to a lesser extent) Chemical Skids - Ensuring technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements - Proven involvement with multi-disciplined Projects - Sound knowledge of offshore working techniques and offshore working environment - Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, MathCAD - Degree in relevant engineering discipline My client is an innovative global company and a leader within their technology, this position will be offering long term contracts and competitive rates.
