Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter/Barrow In Furness/7 Month Contract/£16.00- £22.46 Ltd per hour

My client is a well respected engineering leader who are currently looking for a number of mechanical fitters to be based out of their operations in Barrow in Furness.

The contract is for an initial 6 months

Please find the details below: Responsibilities: Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines. Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other Quality Standards/specifications. Use the appropriate methods and techniques to manufacturer and install mechanical systems and ancillary equipment. Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required Quality Standards/specification. Use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively. Demonstrate experience in fitting, stripping and re-assembling Valves. Demonstrate experience in Argon purging of Pipe systems. Experienced in Shaft alignment.
