Mechanical Fitter

Our client, A LEADING GLOBAL AEROSPACE ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY are looking for a number of Mechanical Fitters to undertake an initial temporary assignment.

The role involves working within a multi-skilled and flexible team for the Production Assembly of Aero gas turbine engines. Ideally you will already have a background in a similar environment.

However experience in a different industry for example automotive engine technicians/mechanics can be considered.

Key Deliverables/Duties

- Assembly and dis-assembly of component modules and parts of live production Aero gas turbine engines.
- Completion where necessary of appropriate documentation in regard of aviation traceability and standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

- Time Served; Indentured Apprenticeship, NVQ 1,2 and 3 or equivalent in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Very proficient in a variety of mechanical fitting techniques, ideally Aero gas turbines.
