Mechanical Engineer Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Erie, PA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Unigraphics NX Software
- Automotive, OHV, and/or Locomotive

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Interactions will include engineering sub-systems; systems engineering; sourcing; supplier quality; supplier for technical needs; and drafting team.
- Designs will focus primarily on motors, alternators and/or blowers
- Complete alternators design and reliability improvements to meet customer goals.
- Development of 3D concept models in Unigraphics NX software.
- Write drawing change orders and interface with drafting team for layouts, detail design, drawings and change implementation.
- Review and approve designs developed by designers & 2-D drawings completed by drafting.
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Good interpersonal skills, willing to work in a team environment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering role.
- Must have a BS degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Automotive or Similar industry background
- Experience in NX Design Software is preferred.
