Mechanical Engineer Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed for an ongoing/long term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Alvin, TX.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Ten (10) years of experience in a chemical plant environment
- Experience working with small project management in a "gated system."
- Pump and line sizing.
- Strong communication, computer, and technical skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide mechanical technical expertise on small
- Support project managers by developing project scopes, estimates, schedules, and construction packages.
- Feed information and specifications to mechanical designers.
- Provide field follow-up and start-up support.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS Engineering; ten (10) years of experience.
- Experience in chemical plant environment and in small project management in a "gated system."
- Knowledge of pump and line sizing.
- Familiarity with pipe stress programs.
- Strong people, communication, computer, and technical skills.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of field work (walking/climbing/stooping/balancing, etc.)
