Mechanical Engineer for Surgical Instruments (m/f)

-Perform sub-projects requiring elevated scientific work
-Elaborate microsurgical design solutions in a broad spectrum
-Work with vendors to implement new designs
-Generate memorandum of inventions
-Set up "work bench models"/test rigs to measure data
-Contribute to an elevated level of scientific documentation
-Plan and set up wet labs to gather feedback from surgeons
-Entertain solid discussions with surgeons
-Advance the R&D Pipeline by ensuring timely completion of assigned projects
-Master’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
-Nice to have: Degree in Medical Engineering
-Proven knowledge in CAD tools
-Proven ability to advance new products from the idea to the prototype stage
-Working knowledge of state-of-the-art tools in the micromechanical realm
-Recognized by peers and management as a specialist
-Fluent in English (written and spoken)
