Mechanical Engineer - Entry Level Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER - ENTRY LEVEL needed for a three (3) MONTH PLUS CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Indianapolis, IN.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Technical support to the sustaining engineering group to reduce the current backlog of 170 COR's which are needed to resolve ongoing operations quality and delivery issues
- Investigate the necessary BOM and drawing revisions, create redline updates, develop supporting design change documentation, conduct necessary risk assessments, develop the COR worksheet information, and submit and follow the COR's thru review, approval, checking, and implementation
- Supports Mechanical Engineering by designing components and systems modules of limited to moderate scope using mechanical design CAD tools; conducting theoretical and empirical analyses mechanical of simple systems; interpreting experimental results and formulating conclusions; documenting and communicating designs and test results
- Participates in the analysis, design and development of system applications.. Reports status of test to supervisor.. Provides quality assurance for adherence to technical standards

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with zero to two (0-2) years of experience
- Experience with designing components and systems modules of limited to moderate scope using mechanical design CAD tools
- Conducting theoretical and empirical analyses mechanical of simple systems; interpreting experimental results and formulating conclusions
- Documenting and communicating designs and test results
- Fabricating breadboards and prototypes
- Developing test specifications and design verification experiments
