Mechanical Engineer/Designer - CAD, SolidWorks

A leading product development company based near Slough, Berkshire are seeking a Mechanical Engineer on a 6 month contract basis.

The Mechanical Engineer will be involved with developing products across a wide variety of clients covering a range of rapid moving markets.

Knowledge and experience in design for injection moulding and a solid understanding of materials and their application in mass production.

The Mechanical Engineer will be developing designs in cooperation with the product designers from concept to prototype and production.

Skills:

- CAD - CATIA V5 ideally for 3D modelling and design drafting
- Experience with Engineering/Design Change
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in design for injection moulding
- Experience taking designs from concept stage to prototype and production
