Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical Engineer, NX 3D CAD, GD&T Medcnaical Engineer If you are a Mechanical Engineer with experience, please read on! We offer an hourly rate of $35-$50 pr hr. This may go perm after 6 months.

What you need for this position:
-Minimum 10 years machine design experience.
-Good working knowledge of NX 3D CAD and Teamcenter and its use. (Ideas experience a plus)
-Knowledge of typical manufacturing methods and mechanical engineering standards including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).
-Design experience in precision mechanisms, component and assembly modelling, sheet metal, cable routing
-Full design cycle experience, from proof of concept through prototyping, development and commercial realization.
-Experience with precision lightweight mechanisms. High speed/high accuracy mechanism design highly desirable.

What you'll be doing:
-Design and detail drawing documentation of parts and assemblies
-Ensure mechanical components/assembly's have been optimized for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
-Participate in design reviews, and ensure mechanical designs are in line with company standards and objectives.
-BOM creation and management
