POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

POSITION- Mechanical Engineer
Location- Almaty
Responsibilities
• Forecast requirement for resources for particular project scope;
• Technical expertise in the discipline which includes power systems, vessel engineering, heat transfer, materials technology and building services;
• Ensuring the timely delivery of safe, sustainable and economic mechanical design for projects;
• Conceptualizes the initial mechanical design approach for all major phases of large industrial design projects;
• Reviews plans and prepares technical specifications, design documents, and material estimates;
• Participate in the completion of technical analysis and design on the key areas of study of the PFS mining program including: Services (design, schedule, capital and operating cost).

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Professional background and requirements

• More than 10 years in Mechanical Engineering managerial positions;
• Understands and executes the project, employing the Project Execution Plan and in compliance with requirements for each project phase;
• Project management skills (definition, planning and implementation);
• Mine infrastructure design (e.g. hoists, conveyors, crushers etc);
• Ability to bring in new business associations and contacts;
• Development, detail design, and construction administration experience;
• Experience in mining projects and due diligences.

Education
Candidate should have university degree Mechanical Engineering, additional degree in Economics is an advantage.
Fluent English is a must.
