Mechanical Engineer

One of my clients based in Bathgate has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work on several exciting projects in a multi-national design services environment.

The right candidate will be educated to BEng/MEng/PhD level, or will have very strong commercial experience.

The role requires the scoping, definition, creation and verification of a wide variety of mechanical projects whilst being able to interface effectively with external customers.

Skills required:

- Strong exposure to ProEngineer, and good knowledge of FEA and CFD analysis techniques
- Good knowledge of prototyping, low and high volume manufacturing, and designing for manufacture
- Tolerance analysis experience
- Proven experience of technical drawing

Beneficial:

- Knowledge of working within ISO9001/ISO13485 environments
- 3D modelling of complex surfaces
- Experience in designing complex electro-mechanical assemblies
